Pfc Marvin J Wentreek United States Army was killed in action on March 12 1945 near Echternach while crossing the Sauer River during a siege on the Siegfried Line. Telegrams to his parents Mr and Mrs Ed Wentreek of Cavilla note prior report of missing in action on February 7 1945.
