Rev. Russell C. White former pastor of the Cameron Baptist church was greeted by large crowds at Sunday morning and night services. Friends and church members gathered to hear him, praising the sermons. He now resides in Tennessee after leaving North Carolina in April.

Rockdale Oil Man Dies After Street Fight
Frank Gildart, 45, an oil man from Milam County, died after a sidewalk fight on Rockdale's main street. Jake Robbins, 35, faced charges with a $5,000 bond after allegedly striking Gildart with a rock, causing a fatal brain concussion. An examining trial is planned in Rockdale Friday.
