Mrs Eileen Winifred Balhorn born in London naturalized in Waco February 27 joins 26 new Americans from 12 countries. She and Corporal William C Balhorn married in Ipswich England November 4 1944 while he served with the 548th Bomb Sqdn US Army Air Corps. They arrived with their children Reggie and Douglas in Cameron after her arrival in 1946.

Massive Horse Meat Seizures Reported in Texas Cities
Authorities in Dallas Houston and Fort Worth seized thousands of pounds of horse meat falsely sold as beef tenderloins. Yee High School pupils write essays on TB and survey value, Ada Henderson School pupils enter the poster contest.
