Funeral for Mrs. Ella Dora White in Milano
Funeral services for 81 year old Mrs. Ella Dora White were held Sunday afternoon June 21 1931 in Milano with burial in Milano cemetery. She died at 425 am Sunday at W L Rogers home in the Marlow community after years in Milam County. Coleman Eplen Company of Cameron directed arrangements. The Milano Methodist church service was led by Rev Craven and Rev O C Atrey.

The 28 year old Noel Brown who died in Los Angeles on June 17 was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery Cameron after a service at the First Christian church led by Rev. Joel B. Hardigree. Survived by his wife, father C. P. Brown, siblings and others, many friends attended. Pallbearers included W R Hoover and J E Flinn.

Chas Nabours has been appointed by the Post Office Department at Washington as parcel post carrier for Cameron. The new service uses a truck to deliver packages free within the city and Nabours has held the position for several weeks, with the appointment announced last week.

Cattle Trucking Opens Profitable Market Route
Eleven loads of cattle were collected from farmers and hauled to Fort Worth from Cameron over two weeks, delivering satisfactory prices. Grady Little led the trucking, and farmers with even one head could contact him by phone or at his residence. The movement began to help small sellers reach good local demand.
