Stuart Shaw Buried in Temple Monday
Stuart Shaw prominent Temple printer and former shop owner died after several months illness at his home 613 North Sixth Street. A longtime civic worker and Temple Typographical Union secretary for 15 years he was made a life member and elected as a delegate to an International convention. Born September 14 1874 he married Floy McLane in 1914 and survived by wife sister in law and brother. Funeral was held Monday at Wrights funeral home with burial at Hillcrest Temple Telegram.

Nolan is Buried in Burlington After Death on Tuesday
J M Nolan 49 of Burlington died Tuesday morning July 25 1933 at a local hospital after a long illness. Funeral service was held July 26 at 9 am at the Burlington Catholic church with Rev Father J Moriarty officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Coleman Undertaking of Cameron directed arrangements. Survived by his widow and several children.

Mrs. Virginia Cullens Sheffield, 79, a Milam county native, died suddenly early Thursday morning at her daughter’s home. Funeral will be Friday at Power’s Chapel Church with burial in Power’s Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Seibert and Mrs. Lawhern, guests of Mrs. Alex Triggs, have returned to Houston.

President’s Son Weds Fort Worth Socialite in Burlington
Ruth Googins of Fort Worth married Elliott Roosevelt son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt last Saturday at the bride’s uncle’s estate in Burlington Iowa overlooking the Mississippi River. The couple, after a whirlwind romance, left for Fort Worth then Los Angeles to establish their home. No wedding photos were taken as a photographer was arrested and his plates smashed.
