New Hearing On SP Train Discontinuance Case

Red Cross Begins First Aid Courses in Milam County

Postmaster Vernon Treadwell dies after Minerva wreck
Vernon Treadwell 45 postmaster at Tanglewood died en route to St Edwards Hospital from injuries in a two vehicle crash on an icy curve south of Minerva. He was thrown from the overturned pickup and collapsed shortly after. His companions suffered only minor injuries. The body was taken to Rockdale for burial preparations.
