Funeral services were held for James S Barmore 70 who died of a heart attack at his Maysfield home. Rev E S Lawson and Rev H Bailey officiated with interment in Little River cemetery. Survivors include his wife and two foster daughters Jane White and Margaret Massengale. Many friends attended from Cameron and nearby towns.

Big Day Planned for Baptist Church Sunday

Lone Robber Holds Up Cameron Youth on Highway
A single robber on the Ben Arnold Highway near Cameron held up Curley Stedman as he returned home during a rainstorm. Relief work begins in Cameron with 175 men hired
The Cameron program started Monday giving 175 unemployed men three days of work at one dollar per day. Rev. J. P. Love chairs precinct No.1 as county funds total five thousand dollars and will grow. Eight precincts appoint chairmen. workers will be registered for county and community jobs including road work, yard cleaning, cemeteries, parks, and wood cutting.
