The Minerva club heard ex-Congressman C. H. Cross discuss Texas cotton problems citing short staple issues from eroded land. Members urged soil conservation and active participation, with calls for upcoming programs and attendance reminders.

Egon Vogiesang and John Matyastik joined a birthday party at Minnie Sager and Mrs Blocker’s home. Charles Engel of Maysfield and family visited Jim Hauk. Charles Supak and wife bought a new car.
