Chas W Price of the Price and Oh undertaking firm will head the new funeral department at Cameron Furniture Company. The firm has ordered a complete Henne motor equipment line from Freeport Illinois, including a funeral coach and pallbearers wagon. James Coleman will manage the department and has moved Rockdale stock to Cameron.

School Transfer Case Now Before High Court
The Texas Supreme Court will hear a transfer fee case from Cameron County soon. The case, described as statewide, concerns independent districts charging transfer fees beyond state appropriations. Giles L. Avriett Injured In Auto Crash
Giles L. Avriett and Mrs. Lola Hearrell escaped injury when their sedan was struck by a truck and overturned near the Tiff Moore residence Sunday night. Avriett suffered a broken left hand, a deep hand cut, and a wrist bruise, and was hospitalized until Monday.

First Fine Imposed For Killing Fox In Milam County
On January 1926 F T Machaka pleaded guilty in Justice Court to killing and possessing a grey fox pelt and was fined 10 dollars and court costs. It is Milam County's first conviction under the new game law banning wild foxes and pelts for ten years. Deputy wardens Love Moore and Chas Brown made the arrest and pledged strict enforcement of all game laws.
