Hunting Safety Urged After Tragic Texas Accident
A four year old boy sat in a pickup as a 10 year old prepared to fire at a thrown target. The child stood up and was killed instantly. Texas Parks and Wildlife reports 32 hunter accidents since 1976 including three fatalities. Most accidents result from misjudged targets or firing into unknown areas. Orange safety vests are urged for visibility.
