Texas to Add Twenty Cotton Marketing Offices
The Extension Service of A. and M. College and the U S Department of Agriculture plan to establish twenty cotton marketing offices in Texas. Each office will employ a cotton classer to aid farmers in grading and selling. Eight current offices reported a $1 500 000 gain for farmers this season from improved methods. Citizens may apply via county agents to Walton Peteet in College Station or A D Hudson in Dallas. Locations will be set between January 1 and February.
