Charles D. Graham has been named division supervisor of Star gas sales for Lone Star Gas Company's Waco Division. A Buffalo native, he previously served as Stargas foreman in Waco and will remain based there. He joined Lone Star on July 1, 1948 as a salesman in the Waco District. He and wife Wanda Jean Sanders of McAlester have two children, Kyle Randal and Jeffrey Alan.

Freer, co district champion 31-AA, edged Nederland to reach the semis and has only one loss, to Robstown. A sell out is anticipated for the 8 p.m. game.

Dr William E Boyd 39, blind yet active as a chiropractor, builds a Brownsfield Texas clinic and will graduate Saturday with his second guide dog Sparkie at the San Rafael California school. His first dog Greta died of pneumonia in Cameron. He plans to move into the clinic by year’s start. He notes mobility from a guide dog makes a blind person nearly as capable as a sighted one.

Two Year Old Allen Conner Dies in Milano
Allen Conner two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Conner of Milano died Thursday afternoon December 9 at St. Edward Hospital. Funeral services were held December 11 at 2 p.m. at Marek Burns Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Donald A. Henderson officiating. Burial in Walker's Creek Cemetery.
