A $76,500 Farmers Home Administration loan to Marlow Water Corporation was closed in Cameron. The project will fund a rural water system serving about 130 people and one church in Milam County, delivering at least 10 gallons per minute with a 15 000 gallon reservoir, repayable over four years.
A special called Cameron School Board meeting is set for 8 p.m. Thursday at Ben Milam School to view bids on the Marak school building and discuss other matters decided by the board.
