Mechanic Survives Four Hours Among Sharks At Sea
Odess a based mechanic Valery Kosyak 25 survived for four hours circling by sharks after being swept overboard from a freighter on the Odessa to North Vietnam voyage in the Indian Ocean south of Sri Lanka. He kept afloat by slowing his movements and steering by the sun while pleading and bargaining with the sharks as shipmates searched for him. The incident drew comment from Jacques Yves Cousteau who called it a unique case noting four hours is unprecedented in his experience.

The Yeomen began two a day practices with eighty six players, led by head coach Ed Cauley. Pads will be added for Friday workouts and move to one a day next week.
