Rescue Unit Saves Drowning Victim
The Cameron volunteer fire department rescue unit was called to the city swimming pool Monday evening about 7 15 to treat a young Cameron boy who nearly drowned. Gerald Wilkerson was revived with mouth to mouth resuscitation by firemen and treated at St Edward Hospital before being released.
