Drowning of Three Year Old in Gatesville Pool
A three year old Gatesville boy drowned Tuesday in a private pool northeast of the city. The death was ruled accidental by the county sheriff. The child was swimming with sisters who left to go indoors and found him later.

County Seeks Tax Information on Oil Wells
At the commissioners meeting County Tax Assessor-Collector Walter White said he cannot obtain oil well assessment data yet and will consult other counties.
