Tejas Swim Meet Declared Tie Turns to Troop 89 Victory
The Tejas District Swim Meet at Rockdale Municipal Pool ended 56 56 in a tie between Cameron’s Troop 52 and Rockdale Troop 89. Barmore Injured In Two Car Intersection Crash
Roy Barmore sustained head and facial cuts in a two car crash at the West Main and South Crockett intersection around 10 55 a m Wednesday. Helen Stevens Hairston driving east on West Main collided with Barmore as he drove south on Crockett. Barmore was taken by Green Ambulance to Newton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Services Held For Mother Father Of Cameron Couple
Mrs Enid Wells mother of City Councilman Bob Wells died after a long illness. Her death followed the sudden passing of W A Boney Bob Wells' father who was 81 and a retired banker and landowner at Iola. Funeral services were held in Oklahoma with burial at Zion Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and seven children.
