Ackley and Leigh's Comedians begin a week long engagement in Cameron under a big tent on Slocomblot. The opening play Your Boy and Mine is a four act comedy drama with vaudeville between acts. One lady admits free Monday May 3 with a 30 cent ticket. doors open 7 15 p m. show at 8 15 p m. This tent show is the first in Cameron in over a year.

The two millionth Chevrolet produced climbed the 45 degree Capitol steps in Jackson Mississippi despite heavy rain. A crowd of 7000 watched as the car demonstrated brakes and power on the steep ascent after parading through the city led by Jackson mounted police.
