This week in Cameron lists marriages including H C Vance to Pansy Blossom offield and Homer McKay to James Anna Williams among others. Real estate filings feature multiple land parcels, oil leases, and transfers to J M Guffey Petroleum Co and various buyers with prices and survey details.
The State of Texas has three murder cases set with special venires: A I In gram on May 10 with 100 jurors, E V Marshall on May 17 with 80 jurors, and Robert Lee Perkins on May 13 with 80 jurors. District Clerk Wilson requires excuses to be made in person to the judge.
Arnold resident Mrs. H. G. Cleveland reports relief from sour stomach and bloating after meals using Chamberlain's Tablets. She says after two bottles she was cured. Available from all druggists. April
Rainy Sunday followed by a Monday ceremony as the committee on graves decorates Veterans’ sites. Seventy eight bouquets were handed out with nine placed at the old cemetery on Little River road and the rest at Oak Hill Cemetery. Ladies from the community and Andrew McLane of the Confederate Veterans assisted.
An advertisement promotes Texas Wonder as a cure for kidney and bladder issues claiming relief for graver ailments. It promises results for men and women and offers mail order if not available locally. A. J. Buffington suffers a severe eye injury from a plow incident. Dr. Kirkland treats the wound and Buffington recovers barring complications.
An advertisement urges parents to treat a child's cough with Dr King's New Discovery. It claims the remedy soothes, heals, and antiseptically balsams the airways, stopping even long standing coughs and colds with a guarantee.
Jeter Lumber Company distributed calendars titled The Cameron Girl as ornamental and useful items for patrons and friends. One calendar was placed on the wall of The Herald office for use during the remainder of 1915.
A Cameron engineer A W Bosley testifies that kidney trouble with back pain and irregular urine eased after using Doan’s Kidney Pills. Two doctors offered no relief before four boxes from Schiller’s Drug Store left him feeling like a different person. Price 50 cents at dealers.
