Mr John Looney made a hurried business trip to Bartlett Taylor Cameron and Buckholts Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday Mr Curtis Rhodes of Thrall visited his mother Mrs Mattie Rhodes. Messrs Henry and Early Peev house returned to their home in Rogers the first of the week after a short visit among relatives and friends of our community. Mr J M Strickland was in Cameron Wednesday and Thurs Mr McKeevar Walker has ores after his recent. After a most successful term of six and one half months our School was brought to a close Friday. On Friday afternoon Clays Creek was a scene of much interest when a crowd of young were victims to its muddy gs resulting in their playing the part of crawfish to view its increased volume after Thursday nights down pour. Mr G M Walker was a business visitor to Davilla Saturday. Mr and Mrs C A Gross were in Davilla Saturday. For the first time in five years there was no Sunday School at the Friendship Methodist church on Sunday morning. But besides the almost impassable conditions of the roads there was a constant showering during the hours of the meeting thus proving it an impossibility. Mr W T Walker was among our sick this week.
