A mobile van staffed by two veterans benefits counselors will tour Cameron on Friday offering information and counseling for veterans and dependents. City tax rebates rise 33 percent from last year
Cameron reports 35424.93 this year in sales tax rebates with 4336.19 received this month. Comptroller Bullock notes reduced refunds handling from 4.76 percent to 2 percent increasing cities’ take by about 3 percent. Buckholts totals 736.33 through April. L flatlands and Rockdale record 26127 with 4660 refund. Rogers up 5 percent with 2064 refunds.
