Freak Traffic Mishap Injures Men Near Rockdale
Two Rockdale area men were treated in a Temple hospital after a freak traffic accident near Rockdale Friday night. A third man suffered chest injuries. they were taken to Richards Hospital in Rockdale and later to Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

Four calls answered by firemen over the weekend due to faulty attic wiring. A house at 902 N Emancipation suffered attic fire damage, owned by Emanuel Thomas. Another attic blaze struck the Lee Young residence at the end of 12 Street, with water and smoke damage.
