Two Injured In Collision At Intersection
At about 8 p.m. Wednesday a major collision occurred at the intersection of US 77 and Farm Road 485. Involved were Richard C. Thomas of McGregor driving a car that crossed the intersection and caused the crash. passengers Josefina Reyes and Seferino Ancisco, both of Houston, were hospitalized in Cameron at St. Edward and later transferred to Scott and White in Temple and a Houston hospital respectively. Ancisco was taken to another facility, while Reyes remained in Texas care. Thomas suffered minor cuts and bruises and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, jailed until bail posted by his wife that night.
