Airman 5 c Jimmie A. Dudik Jr., 22, who drowned in Lake Waco while on layover from Vandenberg AFB, is to have services in Waco. His wife Linda 21 and father Jimmie Dudik Sr. 47 swam to shore after their boat caught fire and sank. Dudik formerly attended Waco Richfield High School and was McLennan County's first drowning victim.

Coleman Duncum was elected president of the Cameron School Board when it met Thursday. Charles McDermott was elected vice president and Lane Horstmann, secretary. The Board voted to appoint Supt. PD.
