Cameron Voters Endorse Mix Of Slots In City and School Elections
Light turnout in Cameron produced a mix of incumbents and new faces. Incumbent Betsy Brown lost in a three way trustee race where Calvin Cobb led with 340 and Becky Magre 272. Brown had 218. City council Place 4 went to Dale Smith 292 over Odessa Poole 289. Place 3 and Place 5 incumbents ran unopposed. School trustees Gladys Allison and Ray Harris were re elected with 114 and 101 votes. Barbara Ku zel won a one year vacancy with 70 votes after defeating Kenneth Arnold 48 and Mae Hubreed 23. Write ins appeared for Place 4 and Place 3. The report ends mid sentence regarding incumbent councilman Douglas Williams with 80 votes.

Milano voters approve incorporation and city leaders elected
Voters in Milano favored incorporation by 119 to 19 as council and school trustee races produced multiple incumbents and new officers. Charlie Martin won mayor with 119 votes while council members, including Lee Keen and Jewel Griffin, secured one year terms. In Rogers, Mayor W A Persky ran unopposed and won again with 85 votes. aldermen L M Ezzel and J A Klecka were elected, and other races selected officers for one and two-year terms.
