Sabbath dawned with sun and shadow as Wade Vance, 15, died after a month of illness in Middlebourne. He suffered consumption, received all care, expressed readiness to die, and was mourned by a father, mother, six siblings, and the community. Funeral by Rev. Dogs Bite Neighboring Residents in Salesville Scene
In Salesville several neighborhood dogs were bitten by a dog suspected of being mad about four weeks earlier and last week. Mrs Brill’s small dog died from hydroghobia, among the group. William Foraker is the area’s sole farmer to enjoy a sled ride this winter. Mr and Mrs Brill, of near Barnesville, visited their mother west of here. Accidental Gun Discharge Injures Man Near Cambridge
Tarry McMurry of east of Cambridge suffered severe injuries when his single Winchester repeater discharged while he rested the gun in his left hand during a fox chase in timber land. The barrel slipped and the shot tore his left thumb and some fingers, with shot lodging in his face. Dr Frame treated the wounds in Cambridge after his father brought him there.

Thomas Bartieson, a prominent Kimbolton citizen aged 90, died Sunday night at his home after a fall and back injury. He leaves a daughter, Miss Jennie Barneson. Funeral services were held at his residence this afternoon at 1 o'clock, led by Rev. Mr. Dickey of Kimbolton and Rev. J. S. McMunn of Cambridge.
