Death of One of Adams Township Oldest Citizens
Joseph Simpson aged 76 died last Wednesday. He came from Pennsylvania in 1818, settled in Bloomfield until 1831, then moved to a farm in Adams township where he lived out his days. A consistent member of the U P church he was highly respected. His remains were taken to Lebanon for burial.
