Pine Brook Truck Hit by Trolley. Horses Injured Dead Likely

Paul Ershonski of Pine Brook drove a wagon struck near Verona crossing by a trolley car on Wednesday night. The wagon and two horses were damaged with probable death of the horses, Ershonski injured and treated at home. Ladies Aid Society to host entertainment at Pine Brook Methodist Church this Saturday evening with cream and cake. Paul Leonard seriously ill with pneumonia.

Colonel Murphy Narrowly Escapes In Auto Crash

Colonel Franklin Murphy Jr son of former New Jersey governor survived a trial trip in a Decauville touring car with his chauffeur and two company agents. En route from Newark to Morristown they reached Montclair on Bloomfield avenue when a turn near trolley tracks caused a collision. The car struck a vehicle smashed its fender and rammed a tree in front of the First Presbyterian Church. All escaped serious injury though shaken.
