Miller County Warrant Funding Bonds Amended in Georgia Proclamation

Governor Eugene Talmadge proclaims a constitutional amendment to authorize Miller County by a county fiscal body vote to issue warrant funding bonds to retire existing warrant indebtedness. If approved the county will operate on a cash basis, pay bills by check, limit expenditures, and fund the bonds with taxes for 1941 and later years while preserving tax collectability and existing obligations. The amendment requires two thirds legislative approval and voter ratification at the 1941 General Election on June 8.
