County Agricultural Workers Attend Blue Lupine Conference
A Lakeland Georgia conference on Blue Lupine was attended by M. P. Dean Roy Jones and A J Fountain. L. L. Paten led the event to share results from Georgia Florida and Alabama Experiment Stations. Cold weather is the main risk, with damage varying by winter temperatures. A projected ten year Georgia fall line map shows years with little to no damage to losses. Inoculation and planting one inch deep are recommended, and efforts to develop hardier lupine strains continue.
