Postal Rate Increases Take Effect April 15

Holder Still On The Job As Georgia Highway Chair
Atlanta March 16. John Holder remained as chairman of the state highway department after his commission was revoked by Gov Clifford Walker last Wednesday. the executive sent the order personally Friday, but Holder continued in office Saturday as a special board meeting at East Point created the vice chair position and named S Bennett head of the department, stripping Holder of authority. He said he would stay until courts order him to vacate.
