Georgia Amendments Propose Bond Refunding and City Loans
A long proclamation by Governor ET the Rivers lists proposed constitutional amendments in Georgia. Items include authorizing refunding serial bonds for multiple cities and counties, establishing state highway and water system borrowing rules, Civil Service provisions for Fulton County, and creation of a Coastal Highway District. The measures set tax and voter approval requirements and define bond terms and maturities. The election is set for June 6, 1989.
