Herman Talmadge formally entered the 1948 gubernatorial race after about 35 former University of Georgia Law School classmates contributed to his campaign in Atlanta. Keep Georgia Green Council Sets Year Program
The Keep Georgia Green Council, with Mr. R. L. Wilson as president, drew up a year long plan in Reynolds.
