Revival Under Way At Methodist Church This Week
Sunday morning opened a weeklong revival led by Rev H C Griffin at the Methodist church with Rev J W Lilly directing music from Macon. Lilly organized junior and intermediate singing groups after Monday's service enhancing attendance and spirit as the two churches cooperate, Baptist worshippers joining at night. Trusty Completes His Life Sentence in State Prison
Dan Hardy, a nearly seventy year old inmate known as Trusty, died today at the convict camp after several weeks illness. Convicted of murder in 1901 in Richmond county and sentenced to life, he served in coal mines, Milledgeville state farm, and road gangs before becoming yardman at the Taylor county camp. He was considered industrious and trustworthy and received a respectful burial by the county.

Funeral services for John T. Oliver Jr. held in Ellaville
John T. Oliver Jr., four years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Oliver, died after being kicked in the head by a mule. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Coun ty Line church, with the tragedy occurring as the child followed his father to the barn where the animals were kept.
