Burra council debates roads and stray dogs issue
The Burra council held its final meeting of the financial year on Monday June 21. Mayor B. J. B. Jenison and Drs Woollacott and Baulderstone attended with others sending apologies. Topics included safety posters, drainage pipes under footpaths, permits for a cow shed, petrol tax use for roads, dog control powers, opening a wall at Kingston Street depot, and tenders for parkland leases. Works and health matters were discussed with road surfacing notes and a service station car washing complaint.
