Hallette District Council Minutes July 6 1953 Declares New Chairman
The District Council of Hallette met with present councillors and chose N. G. Tiver as chairman after nominating Cr Gare and seconding by Cr Honan. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed and Tiver pledged to serve to the best of his ability. Reports discussed Hallett Street lighting costs, repatriation matters, and council repairs and payments.
