Annual report of Borealboord Burra RSL Sub-Branch 1948
The President Mr B C Collins presents the Annual General Meeting report for 1948 covering their first year in new club rooms in Buta and District. He thanks donors and three stalwarts Arthur Bence Bud Coverdale and Tom Fuller, notes Mid Northern Sub Branch conference, Anzac sports, and the ladies auxiliary for a successful banquet. The Sub-Branch aims to raise funds via monthly dances, reports a profit and plans for reserves and debt reduction. Membership stood at 185 with calls for active participation and loyalty to the organisation. The Secretary, Treasurer, and committee are thanked for their work.
