Ratepayers Rally for Burra War Memorial Finance

About a dozen ratepayers attended the Burra ratepayers meeting last week where His Worship the Mayor Mr Hy. J.B Tennison urged adjourning. The council and War Memorial Committee pressed for a £1200 loan with £400 already saved, to fund Victoria Park memorial works and a grand sporting complex costing around £3000, hoping the Government would add £800.
