Pioneer Tours Trip Through Northern Australia
A party of 21 Immanuel College students and three teachers undertook a seven day Pioneer Tours trip from Adelaide to Clare Orroroo Blinman Leigh Creek Hawker Whyalla Port Pirie and Port Augusta. They saw copper mines brown coal railway construction, a blast furnace, ore ships and iron ore mines at Tron Knob. The group returned to Adelaide while two students, David Burge and another, went home early from Clarence.
