Brownwood School Board unanimously approved a contract for Howard Murchison Jr to become Brownwood superintendent starting July 1. Marble Falls officials plan a special meeting tonight to consider releasing him. he will stay through June 10 with three weeks vacation before reporting in Brownwood. The board will search for his Marble Falls replacement, with Truett Mobley discussed as a possible candidate.
