Burnet Native Eugene Hoover Laid to Rest in Fort Worth
Funeral services for Burnet native Eugene D. Hoover 36 were held at Skyline Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Rev. W M Hoover assisted by Rev. James Hoover and Rev. Martin Hoover conducted the service. Hoover, a Burnet High School graduate, directed the Fort Worth high school concert band and served as pianist and organist for Bethel Temple church. He held music degrees from Arlington Baptist College and North Texas State University. Survivors include his mother Bessie Hoover and several brothers and sisters. Police are investigating a homicide. details were unavailable at presstime.
