Burnet County Fair Opens With Wide Exhibits and Parade
The Tenth Annual Burnet County Fair begins at 8 a.m. Friday with exhibits from surrounding counties and Burnet residents. Entries close at noon Friday and judging starts at 1 p.m. A separate Saturday schedule covers livestock judging and a 9 a.m. opening for displays. Trophies honor top exhibitors in Junior and Senior divisions with prizes announced during a Friday barbecue and Saturday rodeo.

Senator Lloyd Bentsen will visit Burnet and Marble Falls in the Hill Country on Saturday July 31 to meet constituents. A 9 a.m. coffee at the Highlander Inn Burnet is open to all. Houston Murder Case Postponed for 2nd Time
