Burnet teams dominate Llano in district basketball night

In Llano on January 21 the Burnet boys beat Llano 79 to 55, the largest Burnet score against Llano in history. Jay Fry led with 22 points. Burnet improves to 2-0 in district play. The Burnet girls won 70-62, Kim Kemper scoring 44 points as the squad moved to 3-0 with wins over San Saba and Marble Falls.

Burnet Girl Becomes Texas Senate Page

Leigh Ann O Donnell, 13, of Burnet is appointed a Texas Senate page by Senator Lloyd Doggett. An eighth grader at Burnet Intermediate, she earns the A and B Honor Roll, cheers, and participates in girls athletics. She comes from a politically active family and will live with relatives in Austin during the 1975 legislative session.

The Right to Live Topic of Program

Dr Joseph Kerwin headlines a program on The Medical Moral and Legal Aspects of the Right to Life and Abortion.
