A six man jury acquitted Mary Passmore Golden of Silver Creek on a traffic charge for driving at an unsafe speed near Burnet. DPS Patrolman Ray Priest testified the road curve and night conditions made speed unsafe, while Golden's attorney argued speed was not a factor.
