Burnet School Board loses long-serving member Roy Oakley

Roy Oakley founder of A D Pharmacy in Burnet has resigned from the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District board after 12 years. He handed his letter to board president E B Price on January 21 citing increased business and outside activities. Price plans to present the resignation at the next board meeting and may recommend no interim appointee. Superintendent Robert Wilkin praised Oakley’s leadership and years of experience.

Burnet Library seeks city gift to tide over funds

Burnet County Free Library Board asked the city for a $1000 gift to tide them over until June and additional funds above the $50 monthly payment after that date. Trustees Decline Fill Post in Llano School Board
