City tests Fordson tractors for street grading needs
Under orders from the commission city manager E. E. Mc Adams evaluated tractor models to replace teams for street work. A Fordson demonstration on a rough block graded the street using a Benson ditching machine, operated by Tucker and Benson. Results were satisfactory in all respects.

Sheriff Dan Harston of Dallas County reports funds totaling 125 dollars for a relief fund to compensate Ben Perry, wrongly jailed for a life sentence after Green Hunter confessed to the Bryan assault.
