Committee Named to Act With County on Ferguson Crossing Improvement

Bryan and Brazos County Chamber of Commerce directors discussed the Ferguson Crossing project at a Tuesday morning meeting. A special committee including J Webb Howell, W R McCullough and James Sullivan was formed to cooperate with county commissioners and meet tonight. County Judge A S McSwain and Commissioners Boyett and Patterson attended, with plans to back an emergency improvement subject to funding and RFC labor aid.

Fifty Models to Parade in Bryan Fall Fashion Show

More than fifty models will showcase fall attire from 23 Bryan merchants. Nazi and Heimwehr clash leaves three dead in Austria

In Linz on September 19 three men were killed and 12 wounded when Nazi and Heimwehr fighters clashed during an attempted arrest by armed police at Wolfsegg. The confrontation followed today's operation to take Nazis into custody.

One Man Killed Three Hurt in Tulsa Truck Crash

Floyd Guillidge of Big Spring died and three others were critically injured in a head-on collision on Highway 12 north of Tulsa. Both trucks were demolished in the crash reported last night.
