Money Set Aside For Hiway Work In Bryan Sector

Youth Is Jailed Who Takes Money Of Benefactors
Frank Marshall a 17 year old youth who sacked the George House home Tuesday night after seeking lodging was arrested Wednesday in Somerville and brought to Bryan by Chief K T Tillis and Constable Horace Reed. He is charged with burglary and held in the county jail. He stole $32.50 a watch and later paid a man $1.50 to take him to Hearne. He bought a new suit shoes hat shirt tie and a suitcase with his loot. He was captured after Mr and Mrs Boriskie and George House searched Somerville for him.

Grand jury to probe horse stealing ring in Brazos County
County Attorney Oak McKenzie says a Brazos County grand jury will investigate an alleged horse theft case. Alfred Stuart, a black man, rode off with a pony owned by Martel Harrison near Bryan. Harrison and classmates tracked the thief, recovered the pony, and alerted officers who jailed him.
