On November 22 1917 the Brazos County Clerk issued writ of sale to Sheriff to auction two Richard Perry League parcels totaling 95.5 acres in Brazos County Texas. The first tract 54.5 acres lies near Steep Hollow Creek and Dansby Ellington line. the second tract 41 acres extends from Chaney Bridge road to the Dansby Ellington line. In the First Texas National Egg Laying contest two Rhode Island Reds owned by R L Poll and C M Evans of Bryan each produced 17 eggs in three weeks and a pair of White Wyandottes from Ysleta also tied for second place.
