New Graduate Library Room Planned at A and M College Station
At Texas A M College Station a special graduate student library room is planned within a week. The room between the commandant's office and library document room will offer individual shelves and day and night access for uninterrupted study. The library, led by librarian T. F. May, is expanding to over 200 magazines and 518 new books, the largest single purchase to date, as it aims to build a broader general reserve. The student body is noted as highly reading oriented, more active than other agricultural colleges, with demand outstripping space. Further expansion is deemed impossible without a new, magnificent building to accommodate growth.
